Health Condition 1: O997- Diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue complicating pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium

Intervention1: Marham Dakhliyun and Zaroor Zaj: Marham Dakhliyun 3g and Zaroor Zaj (2g) for perineal wash twice daily for 10 days will be given. Control Intervention1: Nil: Nil

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Primiparous and multiparous women between the age group of 18- 40 years Singleton pregnancy with gestational age 37-42 weeks and cephalic presentation Normal vaginal delivery with episiotomy1 or 1st 2nd or 3rd degree perineal tear

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of reconstructive surgery history of the vagina and the perineum. History of health conditions which could negatively affect wound healing (such as diabetes mellitus, kidney diseases, or severe anemia) Use of medications which could affect wound healing, no perineal hematoma, Fourth degree perineal tear
