Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Mother-newborn ( intramural ) dyads satisfying any one of the below mentioned criteria : 1.Late preterms ( gestational age between 34-36+6 weeks according to ultrasound dates.) 2.Infants of diabetic mothers born after 34 weeks of gestation. 3.SGA babies born after 34 weeks of gestation with birth weight less than tenth centile on Fenton’s intrauterine growth charts 4.LGA babies with birth weight more than 90th centile on Fenton’s intrauterine growth charts

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Mother-newborn dyads will be excluded from the study if any of the following criteria are present : 1.acutely ill / hemodynamically unstable newborn 2.acutely ill / hemodynamically unstable mother

To evaluate the impact of 3C( Counselling, Checking, Certification ) initiative on prevention of hypoglycemia among at risk neonates - Small for gestational age ( SGA ) babies, Infants of diabetic mothers ( IDM ), Large for gestational age (LGA) babies, Late preterm infants ( LPI) compared to standard care.Timepoint: Blood glucose values at 2 hours 6 hours 12 hours 24 hours after birth
