Inclusion criteria: 1)Age at delivery 18 to 35 years 2)Singleton term pregnancy 3)Cephalic presentation 4)Absent membranes 5) Clinically adequate pelvis 6)Average size baby (2-3.5 kg)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Intrauterine fetal death 2)Multiple gestation 3)Gross congenital anomalous fetus 4) Contracted pelvis /cephalopelvic disproportion 5)High station above +3
