Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients undergoing their first liver transplantation for chronic liver disease and receiving a right lobe living donor liver graft

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who cannot consent for the study Patients allergic to CT contrast Patients undergoing auxiliary transplantation, retransplantation Patients receiving grafts with no anterior sector outflow reconstruction Patients receiving grafts recovered with total/sub-total MHV Patients in whom deceased donor/autologous vein graft for anterior sector outflow reconstruction

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Patency of reconstructed anterior sector veinsTimepoint: 6 weeks after liver transplant

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Cold ischemia time Warm ischemia time Intra-operative doppler ultrasound flow pattern of right hepatic vein and anterior sector vein Final portal pressure Timepoint: During liver transplantation surgery;Patency and phasicity of flow in right hepatic vein and anterior sector veinsTimepoint: Post-operative days 1,2,3,5,7,14,30,60,180,365;Post-operative allograft function Drain output Need for intervention for graft venous outflow or for small for size syndromeTimepoint: Immediate post-operative period
