Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All children aged 3-60 completed months with nutritional rickets defined clinically
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Any patient with 1. Confirmed or suspected diagnosis of malabsorption or chronic kidneys disease or hepatic disease suggesting non nutritional rickets 2. Patients with severe systemic illness at admission 3. Patients who have taken calcium or vitamin D supplements in past 6months
