Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with full term pregnancy posted for elective cesarean section. Patients belonging to American society of anesthesiologists ASA grade I or II. Patients with body mass index BMI between 18.5 to 22.9 kg/m2.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients refusing consent for study. Patients contraindicated for spinal anaesthesia. Patients with known history of allergy to drugs used in study. Patients who require an emergency cesarean section. Patients in who there is more than expected blood loss during the surgery. Coagulopathy Patients with preexisting diseases Spine deformities or history of laminectomy Pregnancy induced hypertension Patients with twin pregnancy Signs of foetal distress Any other obstetric complication
