Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All pregnant females with singleton pregnancy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with Preoperative hypotension, 2.Pregnancyâ??induced hypertension, 3.Eclampsia, 4.Essential hypertension (diagnosed on history, BP records, and lab findings on antenatal visits), 5.Any known cardiovascular disease (valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies) 6.Failed spinal block 7.Total spinal converted to general anesthesia 8.CS indication secondary to placenta previa

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Incidence and prevention of postspinal hypotensionTimepoint: Every 2 minutes till 20 minutes of surgery and after that 5 minutes till completion of surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
comparing hemodynamic changes, hypotension incidence, vasopressor requirement, Apgar scores between the two groups. Timepoint: Every 2 minutes till 20 minutes of surgery and after that 5 minutes till completion of surgery.
