Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients aged >= 18 years admitted at Kasturba Hospital with the confirmed diagnosis of liver cirrhosis of any underlying etiology will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients aged Co-existence of hepatocellular carcinoma or other malignant tumour Patients with haematological malignancy and autoimmune disease Patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome Patients presenting with any kind of infections such as tuberculosis will also excluded from the study.
