Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Either gender diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetic Mellitus. 2. 18-75 years of age. 3. Uncontrolled blood glucose level in spite of exercise dietary goals plus on metformin monotherapy. 4. Treatment naïve patient with HbA1c
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Type 1 Diabetes mellitus. 2. Pregnant & lactating women. 3. Type 2 Diabetic Mellitus patients on insulin or on OADs other than metformin and sulphonylureas. 4. Patients with HbA1c 10%. 5. Patients who are allergic to drugs containing sulfa component in their chemical structure. 6. Patients who are suffering with end stage systemic diseases. 7. Patients in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
