Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients with age group 30 to 50 years. 2 Patients with severe periodontitis as assessed by probing pocket depth (PPD) >= 5mm and clinical attachment level (CAL) >= 4mm exhibiting bilateral intrabony defects. 3 Patients with no systemic diseases.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients with history of systemic diseases, allergies or drug usage. 2 Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment in previous 6 months. 3 Pregnant and lactating females.

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate and compare the efficacy of DFDBA alone and in combination with CGFM in the treatment of periodontal intrabony defects, clinically and radiographically by CBCT.Timepoint: Baseline and 18 months

OTHER OBJECTIVE 1 To evaluate and compare the changes between the groups in Clinical attachment level and Periodontal pocket defect at baseline 3 months and 6 months. OTHER OBJECTIVE 2 To evaluate Bone Defect height, Bone defect width, Bone defect depth, and Bone defect volume at baseline and at 6 months radiographically using CBCT. Timepoint: 18 months
