Intervention1: Gabapentin (oral)-600mg: Group G patients will receive Gabapentin 600mg orally 1 hour before surgery.Baseline parameters heart rate( HR),mean arterial pressure(MAP) and oxygen saturatio

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA 1 &2 Weight- 40 to 70 kg Airway- Mallampatti Grade 1 & 2 Normotensive patients Orotracheal intubation only

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of allergy to study drugs. Anticipated difficult intubation. Laryngoscopy exceeding 20 seconds with normal airway. Second attempt for intubation in normal airway. Patients on sedatives,hypnotics and analgesics for chronic pain.
