Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis and severity of COPD were based on the characteristic findings on history and examination with typical radiographic abnormalities and confirmed with pulmonary function tests (PFTs) 11,12 by a pulmonologist.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Pulmonary diseases other than COPD 2)Diabetes mellitus, Hypertension, Tuberculosis, Bronchectasis, and intercurrent respiratory illness. Congestive heart failure 3)Those with physical limitations or co-morbidities such as angina and peripheral vascular disease
