Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: At least two of the following signs or symptoms will be included Burning during before and after urination Fever eg oral temperature greater than 38 degree Cealcius Nausea or vomiting Flank pain pyelonephritis or pelvic pain UTI Dysuria urinary frequency urinary urgency Urine specimen with evidence At least 5-10 white blood cells per cubic millimetre Urine culture
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Age Below 25 year and Above 55 years Any recent history of trauma to the pelvic region or urinary tract Females who are pregnant nursing or not using a medically accepted effective method of birth control Known structural abnormality that would predispose the participant to reflux or urinary retention Patients with evidence of factors predisposing to the development of urinary tract infections including stricture primary renal disease eg polycystic renal disease or Neurogenic bladder Patients with significant impaired immunity secondary to chemotherapy oral corticosteroids or HIV Patients with suspected hypersensitivity to iodine Patients with history of thyroid disease Patients who has received treatment with other antimicrobials within 48 hours prior to entry
