Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
sucess rate of cannulation in first attemptTimepoint: Only Intraoperative Start time: Beginning of ultrasound scanning, in group D(dynamic needle tip positioning technique)/A(acoustic shadowing technique) and palpation of the patientâ??s wrist in group P(conventional palpation technique) End Time: When a free arterial flow in the cannula will be seen. Technique Failure: If after 5 minutes the selected radial artery will not be cannulated, and the operator will be free to use any method

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
total number of attempts in 5 minutes, time taken for cannulation, number of cannula used, complication related to procedureTimepoint: total number of attempts in 5 minutes, time taken for cannulation, number of cannula used, complication related to procedure
