Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anaesthesiology grade 1 and 2 ,scheduled for elective surgery of duration less than 2 hours under general anaesthesia with controlled ventilation using endotracheal tube for airway management
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Risk of regurgitation and aspiration 2) Anticipated difficult airway 3)Cervical spine injury or disease 4) Pregnancy 5)Recent history of upper respiratory tract infection 6)BMI >30kg/m2 7)H/O systemic and metabolic disorder
