Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients scheduled for elective upper limb surgeries Patients of ASA physical status 1 and 2 Patients of either sex Age > 18 years and BMI < 30 kg/m2
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women/Lactating women Infection at the site of block Patients having chronic pain and on analgesia medications or taking any anticoagulopathy Patients having history of brachial plexus injury, previous upper limb or shoulder surgeries, deformity/congenital anomaly of upper limbs. H/o allergy to local anesthetic drugs or drug abuse Mental incapacity or language barrier precluding to informed consent Patients who cannot lie down/non co-operative Patients refusal for participation in study Pre-existing motor or sensory deficit in the operative limb Severe pulmonary pathology Failed block â?? Converted to general anaesthesia
