Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Extracted intact human molar teeth from patients aged between 20-60 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Extracted human molar teeth should be devoid of any caries

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. To evaluate dentin tubule occlusion after the application of the two tooth mousses and negative control on prepared dentinal discs using Scanning Electron Microscopy. 2. To compare and evaluate the elemental composition on the dentine surface between the groups using Energy-Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy.Timepoint: 1 week after the application of the tooth mousses on prepared dentin specimens.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare and analyze the percentage of occluded dentin tubules after mechanical toothbrushing of the prepared dentin specimens following application of the tooth mousses.Timepoint: 1 day after the initial Scanning Electron Microscopy and Energy-Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy analysis.
