Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Healthy completely edentulous patients who are first-time denture wearers free from oral symptoms, pathologies, and significant medical conditions. 2.No history of temporomandibular joint disorders, psychiatric disorders, or any neurophysiology modifying medication.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with uncontrolled systemic disorders. 2. Individuals with a smoking habit and a history of alcoholism. 3. Individuals with structural and functional abnormalities of edentulous areas and their associated structures, history of parafunctional habits, and neurological disorders.

Psychophysical method to investigate the changes in Oral Stereognosis Ability in completely edentulous patients, before and after the complete denture provision.Timepoint: Before and after 6 months of Denture usage.
