Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Admitted for total abdominal hysterectomy under spinal anaesthesia with ASA 1 & 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal. Patient having bleeding disorders. Patient having local infection at the site where needle for block is to be inserted. Patients on calcium channel blockers Patients with H/o Cardio-Respiratory disorder. Patients with H/o convulsions & neurological deficits.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Comparing the duration of postoperative analgesia between the two study groups. Evaluating the efficacy of TAP block for post operative analgesia by VAS Score (Visual Analog Score) Timepoint: 24 hours

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate the need for rescue analgesia.Timepoint: 24 hours
