Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Deep dentin carious lesions according to clinical (with score of ICDAS 5 or more) and radiographic examinations (with score of 3 or more according to EKSTRAND,1997 ) ; at a risk of pulp exposure but with reversible pulpitis if completely excavated . b) No clinical & radiographic signs & symptoms of irreversible pulpitis such as spontaneous pain / pain persisting after the disappearance of the existing stimulus/sensitivity to pressure. c) Absence of fistula, swelling, abnormal tooth mobility, radiolucency at interradicular/periapical regions, internal/external tooth resorption. d) Patient who agrees to participate in the trial & sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Clinical crown with carious lesions involving more than 2 surfaces. b) Characteristic clinical symptoms of pulp and/or periapical abnormalities. c) Characteristic radiographic signs of irreversible pulpal inflammation. d) External or internal root resorption. e) If the tooth is affected by some disease i.e Enamel hypoplasia/Fluorosis/or any congenital disease. f) If the patient is suffering from any systemic disease.

Clinical comparative analysis of efficacy of 38% Silver Diamine Fluoride(SDF) and Resin Modified Glass ionomer (RMGIC) as pulp capping agents in treatment of deeply carious young permanent molars by indirect pulp capping (IPC) therapy with selective carious removal(SCR). Timepoint: 24 hours one week 1 month 3 months 6 months 9 months 12 months
