Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients in the age group of 16-45years with good general health and oral hygiene Presence of primary caries, in vital molars that require moderate sized class I restorations, ie. Between one quarter and no more than one third of the way between the central fissure and cusp tip. Low decay index. (equal to or less than 3decayed teeth) Absence of periodontal disease. Teeth with satisfactory restorations in need of replacement. Normal functional occlusion (class I molar relation) with at least one cusp in occlusal contact. Patient must be able to return for periodic recall examination.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient with fewer than 20teeth. Patients with parafunctional habits. Known allergic reaction against any component of used materials. Pathologic pulpal diagnosis with pain (nonvital). Fractured or visibly cracked teeth. Atypical extrinsic staining of teeth or staining of any existing tooth coloured restorations.
