Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male or female >10 yrs of age 2. Intestinal obstruction cases diagnosed clinically or radiologically with the previous history of any abdominal surgical intervention.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. No previous abdominal surgery 2. Early postoperative obstruction ( 3. Obstruction secondary to neoplasia (active or previous cancer of the intestinal tract) 4. Active or previous inflammatory bowel disease 5. History of previous radiotherapy or immunosuppression 6. Obstructed abdominal wall hernia
