Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.subjects of minimum 20 teeth present in the dentition. 2.subjects with chronic gingivitis with plaque index score of greater than or equal to one and gingival index score of greater than 1 3.subjects who give an informed consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects suffering from any systemic diseases. 2.Pregnant and lactating women. 3.Subjects undergoing fixed orthodontic treatment. 4.Subjects with history of antibiotic therapy in the past 3 months. 5.Subjects who have undergone periodontal therapy within 3 months prior to the study. 6.Subjects who use any form of tobacco. 7.Patients who have been using any other mouth rinses. 8.Patients who have a known allergy to any of the allotted mouth rinses.
