Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients aged between 18 to 65 years, of either sex having ASA physical status I and II, undergoing elective major surgical procedure (Neurosurgeries for intracranial tumors, aneurysm etc.) requiring central venous catheter placement as a routine perioperative procedure.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with active infection or septicaemia 2. Local site skin diseases 3. Pregnancy, Nursing mother 4. Allergy to Chlorhexidine 5. Patients with immunocompromised state or on immunosuppressive therapy
