Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted in ICU,with age between 18 to 65 years and on HFNC device for respiratory therapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age 65yrs Hemodynamic instability Altered mental status Patients on NIV, intubated or tracheostomised Pregnant patients Febrile or hypothermic patients

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary outcome will be assessment of degree of comfort of patients at two different temperature settings of HFNC device.Timepoint: Assessment of degree of comfort of patients at two different temperature settings of HFNC device will be done after 30 minutes of each temperature setting.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Effect of different temperature setting on hemodynamic and respiratory parameter.Timepoint: Hemodynamic and respiratory parameter will be assessed at baseline, and continuous monitoring till the end of the study( 30 minutes for each temperature setting)
