Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA I -II patients posted for elective laparoscopic surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Postoperative admission in an intensive care unit with sedation or ventilator assistance allergy to bupivacaine 2.Cognitive impairment or mental retardation 3.Use of opioids before surgery 4.Progressive degenerative diseases of the CNS 5.Convulsions or chronic therapy with antiepileptic drugs 6.Severe hepatic or renal impairment 7.Allergy to one of the specific drugs under study 8.Acute infection or inflammatory chronic disease 9.Alcohol or drug addiction 10.Any kind of communication problem 11.Neurologic or psychiatric disease
