Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To compare the first attempt success rates of flight landing technique and conventional palpation technique.Timepoint: To compare the first attempt success rates of flight landing technique and conventional palpation technique at the time of insertion of cannula. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| â?¢ To compare number of attempts for successful cannulation. â?¢ To compare the duration of techniques(time required from skin puncture to visible waveform after connecting transducer). â?¢ To compare the complications like damping, kinking, blockade or hematoma formation till first post-operative day. Timepoint: 1)The total number of attempts done for a successful cannulation will be compared by both techniques at the time of insertion of cannula. 2)The total time taken for a successful cannulation will be compared by both methods at the time of insertion of cannula. 3)Complication rate for both the techniques will be compared at 12hrs and 24hrs. | — |
