Health Condition 1: A419- Sepsis, unspecified organism

Interventions

Intervention1: Vitamin C and Thiamine: 1) Inj Vitamin C 1.5 grams IV every 6th hourly for four days 2) Inj Thiamine 200 mg IV every 12th hourly for four days Control Intervention1: No placebo is used.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Critically ill patients aged 18 to 65 years, clinically suspected to have infection are included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Septic shock (SBP End Stage Renal Disease Hemochromatosis Known allergy to Vitamin C Pregnancy and lactation Clinically indications requiring thiamine therapy
