Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women with Single live pregnancy of more than equal to 37 weeks 2. Valid indication for induction 3. Cephalic presentation 4. Bishops score 5. No foetal compromise 6. No contraindications for vaginal delivery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Cephalo pelvic disproportion on examination 2. History of antepartum haemorrhage or placenta praevia on ultrasound 3. History of previous caesarean or other uterine surgery 4. Premature rupture of membranes or Chorioamnionitis 5. Contraindications to the use of prostaglandins
