Intervention1: curd and plain buttermilk: 15 ml of intervention food is given to the participant. Control Intervention1: water: 15 ml of water is given to the participants

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Healthy children aged 6-12 years • No allergy to any of the test foods • Caries active children with DMFT score more than or equal to 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. 6-12 year old children who are on antibiotics/antacids/chemotherapeutic agents 2. Children under orthodontic treatment 3. Children with missing permanent teeth 4. Children with special health care needs
