Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age group >18 years Height more than 150cm Patients who are intubated with portex suction aid ET tube of size 7 to 8.5

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Abnormal airway or chest anatomy Severe neck trauma Oropharyngeal pathology e.g. haematoma, abscess, tumour etc. Pregnancy Refusal to consent

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Achievement of correct ET positioning as confirmed by X ray in each groupTimepoint: primary outcome will be assessed by 4-8 weeks after the completion of last enrollment

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcome is to find out optimal endotracheal tube length at the level of teeth in Indian adult populationTimepoint: Secondary outcome will be assessed by 4-8 weeks after the completion of last enrollment
