Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients with active psoriasis more than 18 years of age 2)Patients willing to undergo investigations 3)Patients willing to give consent

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patient not consenting to participate 2)Patient who are known case of cardiovascular disease

Assessment of subclinical atherosclerosis in patients of psoriasis with and without metabolic syndrome.Timepoint: Baseline

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To assess prevalence of cardiovascular risk factor and metabolic syndrome using clinical and laboratory investigations 2. To assess subclinical atherosclerosis by Carotid Intima-Media thickness (CIMT) and Epicardial Fat Thickness (EFF) using B-mode ultrasound and 2D ECHO respectively. 3. To correlate cardiovascular risk factors with the duration and severity of psoriasis. 4. To assess prevalence of subclinical atherosclerosis in the patients with no known risk factors.Timepoint: Baseline
