Interventions

Intervention1: Hot foot bath & Cold chest pack (both): The hot foot bath (HFB) comprises of setting the feet in hot water (beginning at 100 to 102.6 degrees F) and applying a cold compress to the head

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Systolic Blood Pressure more than equal to 140mmHg and Diastolic Blood Pressure more than equal to 90mmHg

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Secondary Hypertension 2.Cardiovascular events or hospitalisation for flimsy angina in recent 3 months 3.Pregnancy 4.A medical condition likely to restrict endurance to < 3 years or a malignancy other than non melanoma skin cancer in recent 2 years.
