Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Adult males or females with a diagnosis of hypothyroidism 2) Hypothyroidism defined as raised serum thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH > 4.25mIU/L), or current treatment with levothyroxin therapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Age less than 18 years and more than 60 years, 2) Pregnant females, 3) Serum thyroid stimulating hormone ( TSH 4) Hypothyroid patient with any severe complication. 5) Resently exposed to regular yoga meditation practices will be excluded from the study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Serum thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) level will be compared in all the three groups, as the primary outcome.Timepoint: At Base line (before intervention) , end of 4 weeks and at the end of 12 weeks of intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcome will be compared in all three groups in terms of: 1) Signs and symptoms : Tiredness, feeling cold, weight gain, appetite, depression,anxiety,dyspnea mennorhegia,others. 2) Change in levothyroxine dose. 3) Change in physiological parametrs like weight, Body mass index, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, pulse rate and respiratory rate.Timepoint: All secondary outcome parameters will be assesed at base line, at the end of 4 weeks and at the end of 12 weeks of the study.
