Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 1-5 years (5-20 kg ) 2.Both genders 3.ASA grade 1 and 2 4.Scheduled for routine surgical procedure requiring endotracheal intubation under general anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Upper/ lower respiratory tract infection Coagulation defects Congenital airway defects Refusal by parent/guardian Head and neck surgery Risk of aspiration

To compare the time taken for intubation by a new video laryngoscope (TUORen) with that of conventional Macintosh Laryngoscope for endotracheal intubation in children(1-5yrs) undergoing elective surgery.Timepoint: it is the time taken for insertion of laryngoscope to the passage of tube through the glottis

Laryngeal view-Time taken from insertion of laryngoscope to the glottic view 2.Total duration of the intubation-Time taken from insertion of laryngoscope to the appearance of first capnography on the screen 3. First attempt success rate-Number of attempts 4.Hemodynamic parameters-baseline , before induction ,after induction ,before intubation ,after intubation , 5 minutes after intubation
