Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Controlled type 2 Diabetes mellitus patients with HbA1c Partially edentulous patients who require dental implants in the posterior tooth region.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus. Habit of smoking or chewing tobacco. Having conditions that effect the saliva flow such as xerostomia, radiotherapy etc. Pregnant or lactating women. Having infectious disease known to be transferred by saliva.
