Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age > 21yrs Diagnosed case of Rheumatoid arthritis or Spondyloarthritis (as per criteria below) planned with bilateral symmetrical joint effusion ââ?¬â?? either both knees or both ankles or both wrists or both elbows planned for IA injection by treating physician
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal to participate in study Allergy to lidocaine or LA preparation used Damaged skin or signs of infection at proposed site Coagulopathy Inability to assess pain scores associated with the procedure Non symmetrical joint involvement Joint Prosthesis Intra-articular fracture
