Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Children diagnosed with Functional Constipation. 2)Children falling in the age group of 5-14 years. 3)Children of either gender. 4)Parents willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Underlying known pathology(bowel perforation, peptic ulcer, gastro intestinal bleed). 2) Children having skin diseases such as dermatitis or broken skin. 3) Children with a stool form of type 6 and 7 in Bristool stool form scale.

1) Defecation Frequency 2) Visual Analog Scale 3) Pedsql- Pediatric quality of life inventory 4) Pedsql- Gastrointestinal Symptoms Scale 5) Bristol Stool Form Scale. 6) Reoccurence FormTimepoint: Before receiving the treatment. After 5 days of treatment. Once in every month till the follow up that is till 3 months.
