Intervention1: Parnayavani Arka: 3ml of the Arka for nebulization every 4th hourly and 3ml of Arka is administered orally every 4th hourly for 3 days Control Intervention1: NIL: NIL

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children aged 6-12 years irrespective of gender, religion, and socio-economic status. 2. Children with mild to moderate exacerbation of asthma as per GINA. 3. Those parents who are willing to participate their child in the study and ready to sign the consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with life threatening asthma detected by presence of any of the following: o cyanosis o High grade fever 2. Children with known case other chronic respiratory conditions like tuberculosis, cystic fibrosis or other acute illness that would complicate current treatment and response for asthma
