Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are diagnosed with Alcohol Dependence Syndrome, active dependence as per ICD-10[DCR](WHO,1993). 2. Men aged between 18 to 60 years old 3. Patients abstinent from alcohol at least for 10 days 4. In stable clinical condition with no need for emergency care 5. Patients willing to give informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Any other co-morbid substance dependence except nicotine and caffeine. 2. Participants with any co-morbid psychiatric disorder. 3. History of severe withdrawal e.g., convulsions or delirium tremens during abstinence. 4. Not willing to give informed consent. 5. Patient with presence of pacemaker or other electronic implant, metal or magnetic objects in the brain.
