Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pregnant ladies posted for caesarean section,after obtaining informed written consent,coming under ASA Physical Status II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal;Known allergy to local anaesthetics;Contraindications to regional anaesthesia (bleeding diathesis, use of any anti-coagulants, infection at the site of injection);Patients on beta-blockers;Severe kidney disease, liver disease and cardiovascular disease
