Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Retrospective arm: All patients with gallbladder cancer at any T and N stage, who underwent resection between January 2010 and January 2020 Prospective arm: All patients undergoing surgery for gallbladder cancer for any T and N stage from June 2022 to June 2025 can be included in this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with gallbladder cancer who are not candidates for surgery, e.g. due to metastatic disease or ill health, will be excluded from the study

As this is a qualitative /descriptive study, there are no primary end point however the primary objective is to assess the effect of extent of surgical resection and lymphadenectomy on overall survival and disease-free survival from gallbladder cancer at all stages of resectable diseaseTimepoint: baseline

Identify risk factors predicting requirement for radical or extended resections compared to simple cholecystectomyTimepoint: base line
