Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of all age groups will be included. 2. Patients with a clinical suspicion of posterior fossa tumour. 3. Patients with a radiological diagnosis of posterior fossa tumour.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Contraindications to MRI - cardiac pacemaker, automatic implantable cardiac defibrillator, artificial heart valve, , cochlear implants, hearing aids, neurostimulators, insulin pump biostimulator, intracranial aneurysm clips, claustrophobia, pregnancy, chronic renal disease, dental or joint prosthesis (relative contraindication) 2. Patients who are non-cooperative for MRI. 3. Patients with infective brain foci.

| 1. ADC values will be different in benign vs malignant lesions. 2. The perfusion parameters will change with reference to the vascularity or nature of the lesion. 3. Metabolites as seen on MRS may show reversal of choline/NAA ratio in malignant lesions affecting the neuroparenchyma. The other variables are to be studied. These advanced parameters will thus help to predict preoperatively the nature of the tumour and prognosticate the patientâ??s condition. Timepoint: As the study is observational study and involves analysis of images of MRI and MRI of the patient will be conducted once, so there are no time points. | — |
