Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (a) >=18 years of age (b) hospitalized for PCI or clinical follow up at out institute (c) prescribed an antiplatelet medication [thienopyridine class of ADP receptor inhibitors and/or a cyclooxygenase inhibitor (i.e., aspirin)] (d) prescribed a statin medication (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors) (e) owned a mobile phone with text messaging capability (f) able to speak, read, and understand English

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (a) cognitive impairment that limited ability to understand and complete questionnaires (b) inability to operate a mobile phone
