Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women of reproductive age group attending OPD clinics of OBGYN department of Maheshwara medical college and hospital, with menstrual (including amenorrhoea, oligomenorrhoea, heavy menstrual bleeding, polymennorhoea, premenstrual tension syndrome, dysmenorrhoea ) and fertility problems.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: serious medical conditions, use of hormonal contraception or other medications that might interfere with the hypothalamicâ??pituitary gonadal axis, use of drugs such as psychotropics that could increase weight and interrupt the menstrual cycle, use of vitamin D supplements in the last six months, clinical diagnosis of eating disorders, History of clinical diagnosis of primary ovarian failure, hyper-prolactinemia, thyroid dysfunction.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate serum 25-OH vitamin D levels and to assess its effect in regulating fertility and menstrual disorders in reproductive age group women. Timepoint: 3 months to 6months
