Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients >18 years ASA 1-4 Elective and Expedited surgeries Patients fasted for >2 hours for liquids

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients not willing for study Patients unable to lie in lateral position Those unable to give consent due to cognitive impairment or mental disabilities Pregnant females Pediatric patients Patients with preoperative indwelling nasogastric tube Patients who had undergone previous gastro oesophageal surgeries
