Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Preterm neonate who are born before gestational age in neonatal units. 2. Is on orogastric/ nasogastric tube feeding and deemed fit to be started on oral feeds by clinician. 3. Preterm neonates whose Parents are able to Hindi, English and Punjabi language.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Preterm Neonates with congenital malformations like cleft lip, cleft palate, omphalocele, gastroschisis 2. Preterm Neonates whose parents refused to consent for the intervention. 3. Preterm neonates with structural brain malformation, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, grade 3 or 4 IVH, neonatal seizures, necrotizing enterocolitis stage 2 or beyond, diagnosed case of severe gastro-esophageal reflux requiring anti-reflux medications, surgical GI malformation etc.
