Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged �18 years. 2. EMR data (age, gender, diagnosis, co-morbidities, concomitant medication, PPIs dose and duration) of GERD patients prescribed with PPIs. 3. Patients with at least two visits to the clinic after the baseline visit will be included. 4. Patients with follow-up duration of at least 4 weeks after the baseline visit will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. GERD patient with non-compliance to the treatment as per physician discretion. 2. Patient diagnosed with achalasia, eosinophilic esophagitis, infectious esophagitis, gastroparesis, esophageal stricture, and cancer.
