Intervention1: Pulsated electromagnetic field in the form of a gel mat: Gel mat will be kept under the back of a patient recruited for the study Control Intervention1: Oral medical drugs: patients wil
anti-inflammatory drugs, muscle relaxants, anti-depressant drugs etc

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 chronic back pain patients with chronic back pain more than 12 weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients with metal implants 2 Patient having symptoms or signs that might suggest serious medical illness 3 Pregnancy or recent childbirth 4 Presence of any psychiatric disorder, which might affect the compliance, and/ or the assessment of symptoms.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
decrease of back pain NRS decrease in number/strength of medicines taken for chronic back pain Timepoint: at baseline after 2 weeks of treatment at week 3, week 6, week 9 , week 12

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
to see if the decrease in chronic back pain is sustained over 6 months follow upTimepoint: after 2 weeks of treatment , every one month for 6 months
