Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To obtain association between portal vein pulsatility fraction and Mechanical Ventilation duration, ICU stay and mortality.Timepoint: 1. after induction of anesthesia and before going on bypass 2. half an hour after coming off bypass 3. at 24, 48 hours postop, on day of extubation and day of ICU discharge

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Traditional parameters of RV function - RVFAC, TAPSE, RVEF, Tricuspid annulus velocity â??sâ?? and Tricuspid annulus velocity â??eâ?? , Tricuspid valve inflow E/A, RVOT fractional shortening (RVOT FS), RV GLS Hepatic vein waveform CVP and fluid balance IVC diameter Lv function (short axis), MR, TR, AR,PR Serum Lactates PaO2/FiO2 ratio Post-op AKI Post-op bleeding Vasoactive Inotropic Score Timepoint: 1. after induction of anesthesia and before going on bypass 2. half an hour after coming off bypass 3. at 24, 48 hours postop, on day of extubation and day of ICU discharge
